DeMarco, born Jason Duane Woodfork in Dayton, Ohio, is a seasoned hip-hop artist, songwriter, and entrepreneur whose career has spanned decades of evolution in the music game. From humble beginnings on the streets of Dayton, DeMarco’s passion for storytelling and lyrical mastery emerged early, eventually leading him to team up with his childhood friend Snipes to form the rap group 275.

The duo’s talent and authenticity quickly gained attention, landing them a spot with the legendary Hit Squad, one of hip-hop’s most respected collectives. Through this affiliation, DeMarco collaborated and recorded with heavyweights like Scarface and Styles P from The LOX, earning his stripes in the rap world and making noise far beyond his Ohio roots.

His breakout moment came with the release of the single “Move Sumthin,” which debuted during the iconic BET Uncut era. The video captured raw street energy and placed DeMarco in the national spotlight.
